Description:
Between April and October 2025, YPARD commenced the process of developing a strategic plan for the upcoming years. A Global Members’ Survey and a series of multilingual online consultations were held to inform the development of this document. The survey saw over 100 respondents, which included core members of YPARD Country and Regional teams. Consultations were conducted in English, French, and Spanish, engaging over 50 members and national representatives from across Africa, Latin America, Europe, and Asia. Participants shared their experiences, priorities, and recommendations on thematic focuses, network governance, activity design, and partnerships. Following these processes, the strategy was drafted by the GCU and reviewed by the YPARD Steering Committee and Regional Coordinators.
The Strategic Plan 2026-2031 was finalized in January 2026. This session will present the Strategy to the core members of the YPARD network, including Country and Regional teams. Plans for communications, fundraising, and policy work will also be discussed.
Objectives:
- Communicate highlights of the Strategy including thematic and programmatic priorities to core YPARD members
- Reflect on communications, fundraising and policy workplans for the year
- Reflect on planned activities for targetted, special campaign
