The International Fund for Agricultural Development (IFAD), in partnership with the Global Donor Platform for Rural Development (GDPRD), invites stakeholders to a high-level breakfast dialogue at the ECOSOC Forum on Financing for Development (FFD Forum).
The session will explore how global trade tensions, tariffs, and energy-related shocks are impacting agrifood systems, food supply chains, affordability, and rural livelihoods. It will also highlight lessons from recent crises and discuss the need for stronger coordination across trade, energy, and agricultural policies, alongside more cohesive financing approaches to build resilient agrifood systems.
